GAC Bunker Fuels expands Houston team


Maurice Lara joins Houston-based GAC Bunker Fuels (USA) LLC.



GAC Bunker Fuels Ltd., the bunker trading arm of the GAC Group, has boosted its team with the addition of a new member of staff at its office in United States.

Houston-based Chris Brooks [pictured] has joined Maurice Lara to further strengthen the company’s presence in the Gulf of Mexico. He brings with him more than six years of bunker fuels procurement experience in the region with Chevron and Bominflot.

From the company’s global headquarters in Dubai, GAC Bunker Fuels Director Nicholas Browne remarked: "After a very fruitful year of steady growth during 2013, we felt the time was right to inject more bright young talent to further develop our business and deliver results for our clients."
