OW Bunker stops supplying IFO at Klaipeda


Supplier says it is now only offering MGO to clients calling at Lithuania's main bunker port.



OW Bunker, one of the world's largest suppliers and traders of marine fuels and lubricants, has today confirmed that it has stopped supplying intermediate fuel oil (IFO) products to clients at the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda.

Speaking to Bunker Index today, bunker trader Lau Sefland said that the company had decided to only supply marine gas oil (MGO) at Klaipeda.

During the course of 2013, OW Bunker had been primarily supplying a combination of low sulphur IFO products and MGO to customers, whilst high sulphur 380 centistoke (cst) and 180 (cst) fuels were supplied on a case-by-case basis.
