Bunker firm confirms ship charter renewal

Chartered vessel to be used to carry out fuel deliveries to customers.

UK-based Geos Group has confirmed the renewal of its long-term ship charter agreement with Stolt Tankers BV, a subsidiary of Stolt-Nielsen Ltd., for the charter of the Stolt Sandpiper [pictured].

The Stolt Sandpiper is a 4,449 deadweight tonnage (dwt), 91 metre length overall (LOA) chemical tanker, equipped to carry out ship-to-ship transfers.

"Because we transport stock of marine gas oil in our own dedicated tanker, we can guarantee its quality and provide a continuous supply of fuel to our customers," Geos Group said in a statement.

Geos Group offers ship-to-ship transfers of marine gas oil (MGO) to ships in UK east coast ports.
