OW Bunker appoints VP for Physical Division

Søren Christian Meyer appointed to Physical Division Leadership Team to support further growth and development.

OW Bunker, one of the world’s largest suppliers and traders of marine fuels and lubricants, today announced the appointment of Søren Christian Meyer [pictured] as Vice President of the company’s Physical Division. He has been promoted from his previous position as Global Sales Director.

Meyer has been appointed to his new role to drive further growth in the company's rapidly developing physical supply operation, OW Bunker said.

Meyer joins Jane Dahl Christensen, Executive Vice President, and Jan Christensen, Vice President, to form OW Bunker's 'Physical Division Leadership Team', which the company says will be responsible for "ensuring the consistent delivery of high value and high quality physical supply solutions to OW Bunker’s customers worldwide".

Jane Dahl Christensen, Executive Vice President, Physical Division, OW Bunker commented: "As a company, we have invested heavily in developing our supply fleet, expanding our global coverage and in implementing measures to ensure that we provide our customers with the best service and the highest quality products possible. Søren’s appointment further strengthens our physical division. And as we continue to grow, his knowledge of the market, and understanding of the challenges that ship owners and operators face in a continually changing industry, will play an important part in ensuring we meet the needs of our customers as well as realising our divisional objectives going forward."
