Management changes for Bomin in Asia


Lars Doring to become MD of Bomin Bunker Oil, Singapore. Susanna Lai to head Bomin's offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.



Bomin Group has announced the reorganisation of its management structure at its offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

As a result, effective September 1, 2013, Lars Doring, will be appointed Managing Director of Bomin Bunker Oil Pte., Singapore, where he will focus mainly on the development of Bomin International Trading in the Far East.

Doring has been an employee of the Bomin Group for more than 15 years, during which time he has held different positions in various offices. In addition to his position as Bunker Manager of Bomin Deutschland GmbH, Doring has also been responsible for the development of Bomin International Trading, particularly in Europe as Team Leader Europe.

Also in September 2013, Bomin Group has announced that Susanna Lai will be appointed Managing Director of Bomin Bunker Oil Ltd., Hong Kong, where she will be responsible for the Bomin office in Hong Kong and its representative office in Shanghai.

Coming from the banking sector, Susanna Lai joined the Bomin Group in April 2006 as a bunker trader at its Hong Kong office. In June 2010, she took over the responsibility for the operational management and business development of Bomin's bunker activities in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

The newly announced roles for Lars Doring and Susanna Lai come as a result of the departure of Raymond Kong, who will leave Bomin Singapore on August 31, 2013.
