Wired Bunkering Pte. Ltd. logo. Evening Update

Cargoes ended steady with little change, except gas oil cargo may possibly have gained USD0.30/BBL. All delivered were quoted almost on a par with last trading days. For early April lifting, it may be a little cheaper depend on sellers' positioning and the quantity. However, the market is too volatile and some are still staying clear not to compete at too low levels. Meantime, our bunker indications remain broadly unchanged for all grades, amid above average demand.

Morning Commentary

Crude future for May contracts settled mixed last night, notably ICE Brent gained by USD0.25/BBL and NYMEX crude dipped marginally by just USD0.07/BBL.

In Singapore, both fuel oil and gasoil papers opened firmer by USD2.00/MT and USD0.50/BBL respectively. With crude sentiment showing weaker, it is likely that cargoes will make cheaper offers later this afternoon. Those requirements held back yesterday will have to resurface again and get fixed to avoid disappointment. Meantime, our bunker indications remain unchanged for grades.
