Wired Bunkering Pte. Ltd. logo. Evening Update

Cargo trading ended mixed today, notably fuel oil cargo dipped by almost USD2.00/MT, while gas oil gained by about USD0.30/BBL. All delivered prices were competing again aggressively low, despite crude sentiment showing more gains. It's all narrow down to cost and positioning. As a result, our bunker indications are revised accordingly for all grades, amid average demand.

Morning Commentary

Crude futures for May contracts fell weak last night. Both WTI crude price and ICE Brent dipped by USD0.76/BBL and USD0.79/BBL respectively. These values are showing some rebound earlier. However, paper market was pegged higher instead. Fuel oil paper surged by almost USD2.00/MT while gasoil paper climbed by about USD0.50/BBL. Delivered prices are expected to tag along if crude sentiment and swaps remain with a positive gain. Meantime, our bunker indications are revised upwards marginally for all grades.
