Hapag-Lloyd announces revised Trans-Pacific bunker charges

Fees raised for trades from East Asia and Indian Subcontinent to East Coast North America.

Container shipping line Hapag-Lloyd AG has announced that from April 1 it will be implementing a new bunker fuel factor (BFF) rate list for dry, reefer, flat rack and open-top containers from Asia. The scope includes East Asia and Indian Subcontinent to all US and Canada destinations.

Effective April 1, the BFF will be as follows:
