CMA CGM has held a naming ceremony in Le Havre for its vessel CMA CGM Notre Dame, described as the world’s largest LNG-powered containership, with the event marking the ship’s formal entry into CMA CGM’s fleet

As previously reported, CMA CGM Notre Dame set sail on its maiden voyage in May, making her first call in Singapore as part of her inaugural voyage between Asia and Europe.

The vessel measures 400 metres in length and 75 metres in height, with a capacity of 24,212 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU). It is the first of ten sister ships of the same capacity to sail under the French flag.

"Behind every photo are years of engineering, teamwork and commitment. Behind every smile, thousands of people who turned a bold vision into reality," CMA CGM said in an online post.
