A closing ceremony marking the delivery of a 155,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel crude oil tanker to Capital Ship Management Corp was held on 8 June at the offices of New Times Shipbuilding in China.
The event took place in a meeting room on the eighth floor of the New Times Office Building and was attended by the company’s chief executive, Liu Haijin, executive deputy general manager Zhang Yuyong, and deputy general manager Yuan Heng, alongside representatives of the owner and BOC Financial Leasing.
The tanker, designated hull 71, is configured to run on LNG as a dual-fuel option alongside conventional marine fuels.
As previously reported, New Times Shipbuilding also recently delivered a 112,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel product and crude oil tanker to Capital.
