World Fuel Services, part of World Kinect, is seeking an operations and sales executive specialising in marine lubricants, according to a LinkedIn job posting on 10 June.
The role, based in Glyfada, Greece, is focused on driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within the marine lubricants market. The position is aimed at candidates with experience in marine lubricants, marine fuels, or the broader shipping sector, though World Fuel states that prior experience is "preferred but not essential".
According to the posting, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue, volume, and margin targets, as well as managing a portfolio of customers that includes shipowners, operators, technical managers, and charterers. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities and supporting commercial negotiations covering pricing, contracts, tenders, and long-term supply agreements.
The position carries a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week at the Glyfada office and two days remote, along with some European travel expected.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, maritime studies, or a related field, though this too is listed as preferred rather than required.
