New Times Shipbuilding has delivered a 112,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel product and crude oil tanker to Capital, according to the Chinese shipyard.

The closing ceremony for the vessel, bearing builder’s hull number 0311552, took place on 21 May at the company’s New Times Office Building.

The tanker's hull is designated as the 52nd in the series and is capable of operating on either LNG or conventional marine fuels, with the dual-fuel capability allowing the vessel to switch between fuel types depending on availability and operational requirements.

New Times Shipbuilding was represented at the ceremony by CEO Liu Haijin, Executive Deputy General Manager Zhang Yuyong, and Deputy General Manager and Executive Director Yuan Heng. Capital was represented by Nikolaos Vaporis and Andreas Gkatzoflias.
