Auramarine has announced a webinar on the role of biofuels in marine decarbonisation, scheduled for 7 May.
The online session, titled 'Biofuels: practical solution for marine decarbonisation', will examine current and future biofuel options and their use in maritime sustainability efforts.
The presentation will be led by Veikko Tuominen, senior R&D engineer at Auramarine. The company said the event will cover practical ways to integrate biofuels aboard operating ships without costly retrofits.
The session is the fourth and final instalment of Auramarine’s spring 2026 webinar series, which has also addressed emissions rules, methanol fuel supply solutions and ammonia as an alternative marine fuel.
Auramarine noted that the biofuels event will also share insights from its own projects and discuss fuel supply system requirements.
The webinar is scheduled to begin at 10am EEST (7am GMT). Interested participants can register by clicking here.
As previously reported, Auramarine’s spring webinar series has already covered emissions compliance, methanol fuel supply systems and ammonia as a marine fuel, with the 7 May session on biofuels closing the four-part programme.
