Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) reports that the LNG dual-fuelled car carrier Lazulite Ace has made its maiden call to PSA Singapore following delivery last month.
The vessel called at Singapore over the Hari Raya weekend, marking another milestone in its maiden voyage. Representatives from MOL’s Car Carrier Division and PSA were present to welcome the ship and present a commemorative memento to the captain.
MOL noted that Lazulite Ace had been delivered safely from Nihon Shipyard’s Tadotsu Shipyard on 6 March and has now officially joined its core fleet.
According to the company, the vessel is the 12th LNG dual-fuel newbuild in the MOL ACE car carrier fleet, underlining its continued focus on more sustainable shipping operations.
The addition of Lazulite Ace forms part of MOL’s wider efforts to expand its LNG-fuelled car carrier fleet.
