Naftomar Shipping and Trading Co. Ltd. has taken delivery of the 93,000-cbm very large ammonia carrier (VLAC) Gaz Ronin, designed to transport both LPG and ammonia.

The company noted that the vessel has been built for the safe and efficient carriage of these cargoes and is fitted with a MAN 6G60ME-C10.5-LGIP dual-fuel main engine, combined with high-pressure selective catalytic reduction (HPSCR) technology. The propulsion arrangement is intended to enhance fuel flexibility while supporting lower emissions in accordance with current environmental regulations.

Naftomar stated that the addition of Gaz Ronin forms part of its ongoing fleet renewal programme and underlines its focus on investing in modern, energy-efficient tonnage capable of serving the evolving LPG and ammonia trades.

The company expressed its appreciation to Hanwha Ocean, Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore, the Naftomar site team and other partners involved in delivering the project.
