Everllence has announced two upcoming webinars showcasing the development of its ammonia-fuelled two-stroke engine technology, the B&W ME-LGIA.
The online 'ExpertTalk' sessions will take place on 24 and 25 February, guiding participants through the engine’s journey from laboratory testing to maritime application.
Both sessions will be hosted by Christian Ludwig, with technical presentations from Ole Pyndt Hansen, head of two-stroke research and development, and Nikolaos Kourtidis, director of market and new technologies.
According to the company, the webinars will outline key engineering milestones, lessons learned during development and how the ME-LGIA platform supports the maritime energy transition.
The first session will run on Tuesday, 24 February, from 3pm to 4pm CET, followed by a second session on Wednesday, 25 February, from 9am to 10am CET. Registration is open via Everllence’s website.
Ammonia continues to attract attention as a potential zero-carbon marine fuel, though technical maturity, safety considerations and infrastructure development remain central challenges for widespread adoption.
