Petrobras Bunkering has announced changes to its commercial conditions for marine fuel deliveries at the Port of Santos, effective from 1 March.
Under the revised structure, the company will discontinue its differentiated pricing tier for deliveries exceeding 1,500 tonnes. Petrobras will also reduce its minimum order quantity to 300 tonnes.
The supplier said the adjustments are intended to improve operational efficiency and better reflect current market conditions at the port.
Back in July 2025, Petrobras introduced volume-based price discounts at Santos for volumes greater than 1,500 tonnes per batch. The pricing policy applied to supplies of up to 3,000 tonnes in a single delivery, with the first 1,500 tonnes billed at standard rates and excess volumes receiving special pricing.
The initiative, which became effective on 10 July, aimed to encourage larger-scale operations and optimize logistics costs for customers operating at the port.
Santos is Brazil's busiest port; it handles a significant amount of Brazil's container traffic and serves as a key bunkering hub for vessels operating along the South American coast.
