Eastern Pacific Shipping has completed its 550th ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation, marking another milestone in the company’s use of LNG across its operating fleet.

The bunkering took place in Singapore, where LNG was supplied to the dual-fuel pure car and truck carrier Lake Villarica using the bunker vessel FueLNG Bellina.

Eastern Pacific Shipping said the milestone reflects the continued expansion of LNG within its day-to-day fleet operations, as well as the maturity of the company’s dual-fuel infrastructure. The company highlighted the role of operational discipline and long-standing partnerships in enabling the scale-up of LNG bunkering activities.

LNG remains a core element of Eastern Pacific Shipping’s transition strategy, with the fuel offering lower emissions compared with conventional marine fuels while supporting compliance with evolving environmental regulations, the company said.

Eastern Pacific Shipping acknowledged the contribution of its bunkering partners, including Shell and FueLNG Private Limited, as well as its onboard crews and shore-based teams involved in the operations.

FueLNG Private Limited is a Singapore-based LNG bunkering provider supplying LNG to vessels operating in the port of Singapore.
