Flex Commodities DMCC has appointed Panagiotis Bastas as sales manager for Greece, the company said.

Bastas joins the Dubai-based firm with more than 15 years’ experience across maritime and commercial roles, which Flex Commodities said will support its business development in the Greek market.

The company said Bastas brings a strong understanding of regional market dynamics and a relationship-focused approach to client engagement.

Headquartered in the UAE, Flex Commodities specializes in marine fuels trading and cargo logistics.

The appointment comes as Flex Commodities continues to strengthen its presence in recent months with several trader appointments at its Dubai office, as well as new hires in Greece and Singapore.
