Dan-Bunkering Europe has appointed Claire-Celine Bausager Jørgensen as senior fuel supplier at its Copenhagen office, marking her return to a commercial trading role within the bunker industry.

Jørgensen previously worked in bunker trading at Dan-Bunkering before moving into the group’s human resources function, where she spent several years within Bunker Holding. The company said her return reflects a renewed focus on commercial activity and market-facing roles.

She first joined Dan-Bunkering in 2016 and began her career on the trading desk before transitioning into HR, gaining broader experience across organisational development and internal operations.

Alongside her commercial role, Jørgensen serves as chair and co-founder of Women In Shipping, an industry initiative promoting diversity and inclusion across the maritime sector.

Michel Dominique Thomsen, commercial director of Dan-Bunkering Europe, commented: "We are thrilled to welcome Claire back 'home' and we are confident that all of her experience and positive energy will be of great value to our team."

Jørgensen will be based in Copenhagen and will support Dan-Bunkering Europe’s fuel supply activities across its regional markets.

Dan-Bunkering is a bunker trading house that forms part of the Bunker Holding Group, a leading seller of marine fuels. Other bunker companies under the Bunker Holding umbrella include Bunker One, Glander International Bunkering, KPI OceanConnect, and Unioil Supply.
