Hong Lam Marine takes delivery of Artizen tanker in Japan


Singapore-based firm receives new vessel from Kegoya Shipyard.

Singapore-based bunker vessel owner Hong Lam Marine has taken delivery of the Artizen at Kegoya Shipyard in Japan.

The 13,300 DWT product tanker has an overall length (LOA) of 120 meters and a width of 20 meters. Amongst its features, the Artizen includes a central cooling system and stainless-steel pipelines with design advancements aimed at reduce maintenance work, thus allowing the crew to focus on operational tasks, thereby enhancing efficiency and safety.

"This marks a proud and important milestone forward in our shared maritime journey – thank you to all who made it happen!," the company said in an online post.

Founded in 1981, Hong Lam Marine operates a fleet of vessels primarily used by its customers to carry out bunker deliveries in Singapore, and for the transportation of chemicals and other products in South East Asia.
