Nordic Energy Partners A/S has expanded its operations to Singapore with the appointment of Bernard Cheah as operations executive and sales supporter, the company announced.
Cheah brings nine years of industry experience to the role, having most recently worked as operations executive at Cockett Marine, BP Singapore, Maxwell Ship Management, and Ocean Tankers. He also spent one year as a surveyor for SGS Testing and Control Services in Singapore.
The appointment marks Nordic Energy Partners' establishment of a local presence in Singapore as part of its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region. The company said it aims to serve clients and partners in the region more closely through this move.
Nordic Energy Partners is a marine fuel trading company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Singapore office represents the company's first expansion into the Asian market.
