Wired Bunkering Pte. Ltd. logo. Evening Price Update

Cargo assessment ended weaker upon Market-On-Close this afternoon. Fuel oil dipped by about USD3.50/MT while gasoil cargo slid down by just USD0.30/BBL. Delivered prices were quoted cheaper again, notably requirements that have opted to sit on the sidelines yesterday may have fixed a better pricing today. Crude futures sentiment was showing flat with little change. Meantime, our bunker indications are revised downward for all grades, amid below average demand.

Morning Commentary

Crude futures for January contracts settled mixed last night, though just marginal change upon closing. WTI crude price by USD0.23/BBL while ICE Brent gained by just USD0.04/BBL.

In Singapore, fuel oil paper opened weaker by USD2.00/MT while gasoil paper was pegged softer by USD0.40/BBL. We shall see how cargo trading will react later this afternoon. Meantime, our bunker indications remain broadly unchanged for all grades.
