Wired Bunkering Pte. Ltd. logo. Evening Price Update

Physical cargoes ended firm after the trading session ended today, notably with swaps values weakened slightly. Still, fuel oil cargo gained by USD5-6/MT while gasoil cargo surged a lot more than expected, by about USD2.40/BBL. All FOB products were quoted more expensive, but were readjusted lower as crude futures sentiment was showing some weakness earlier. Meantime, our bunker indications are revised accordingly for all grades amid average demand.

Morning Commentary

Crudes futures for May contracts concluded bullish last night. Both WTI Crude and ICE Brent gained strongly by USD1.46/BBL and USD2.40/BBL respectively. This has pushed up all paper values by much this morning. Fuel oil paper surged sharply by about USD12.50/MT while gasoil paper went skyrocketing high and climbed by almost USD3.00/BBL. Cargoes trading is expected to follow suit and make more expensive selling across the board today. Meantime, our bunker indications are revised upward for all grades.
