Singapore: Lowest fuel oil stocks since January

23 Aug 2012 09:55 GMT

Inventory levels have fallen by more than 5 million barrels over the last two weeks in Singapore.

Singapore's onshore stocks of residues fell to their lowest level in seven months in the week up to Wednesday, August 22, according to data released by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore - an agency operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Stockpiles of residues, a category which includes fuel oil and low-sulphur waxy residue and excludes bitumen, plummeted 1.56 million barrels, or 8.7 percent, to 16.28 million barrels, down from 17.84 million barrels the previous week.

It is the lowest stock level since the week ended January 18, when inventories fell by 976,000 barrels to 15.334 million barrels. Over the last two weeks alone, stocks have fallen by more than 5 million barrels.

Please find below a table of Singapore's onshore stocks of residues up to Wednesday, August 22.

The volume data provided below is in millions of barrels. Inventory levels are collated on a weekly basis for each 7-day period ending on a Wednesday.
