Cockett announces management and trading team hires

Marcelo Brasil and Andrew Lade named branch managers; Amar Vyas becomes regional credit manager.

Cockett Group has announced the appointment of Marcelo Brasil and Andrew Lade as branch managers for its Brazil and UK & Netherlands offices, respectively, whilst Amar Vyas has been hired as regional credit manager for the US and Western Europe.

The bunker firm has also bolstered its trading teams in a number of countries with the following additions: Raffaella Benvenuto (Netherlands), Anne Kathrine Bergmann (UK), Esrick Bull (South Africa), Prashant Dixit (India), Kenny Kiang (Singapore), Jinni Lew (Singapore), Xin Yuan Pang (Singapore), Robert Rosano (USA), Katerina Sarakioti (Greece) and Neide Santos Soares (Brazil).

Furthermore, Cockett has appointed the following personnel in various operations and trade support roles: Vladmir Teixeira de Jesus (Brazil), Manos Karapas (Netherlands), Lorena Liu (China), Kaycee Moral (UAE), Mario Santos de Souza (Brazil), Paolo Valmeo (UAE) and Sarah Zhang (China).

Cem Saral, Cockett Group CEO, commented: "We are pleased to add new members to our commercial teams as the Group's global activities on marine and petroleum products continue to expand, and we further support management of the Group with the addition of Marcelo, Andrew and Amar."
