Cockett expands commercial team with 19 hires

Staff added in Athens, Dubai, Istanbul, London, Mumbai, Palm Beach, Rotterdam and Singapore.

Cockett Group has expanded its commercial team in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia with the appointment of 19 members of staff.

A list of the new hires has been provided below.

Athens, Greece: Spiros Stamou

Dubai, UAE - Jonalyn Diaz, Ahmad Waqar, Emad Alrifai, Aleksandra Bumbu, Katerina Dontu, Amyn Haider, Anish Polson

Istanbul, Turkey: Derya Senturk

London, UK: Nicholas Hughes

Mumbai, India: Deepak Jadhav, Bhavin Sanghavi, Ronny Theroth

Palm Beach, US: Sergi Calls-Molinero

Rotterdam, Netherlands: Gordon van de Brugge, Richard Wagenaar

Singapore: Kua Soon Hao (Daniel), Lim Wee Guan (Mike), Lee Kok Siang (James)

Cem Saral, Group Chief Executive Officer for Cockett Group, commented: "We are delighted to add further talent to our professional team globally and continue to strengthen our customer offering."

Cockett is owned by Vitol Group (50%) and Grindrod Limited (50%). Headquartered in Dubai, it operates globally from 15 offices and claims to trade in excess of 7 million metric tonnes per annum.
