Bomin to launch physical supply of ULSFO in ARA region

Service due to commence between the end of February and beginning of March.

Bomin is due to shortly commence the physical supply of ultra-low-sulphur fuel oil (ULSFO) in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region, the company has informed Bunker Index.

According to the bunker seller, it will be kicking off the distribution of ULSFO products between the end of February and the beginning of March.

"We see this extra service in ULSFO grade as a logical next step in our growth," the company noted, whilst adding that the move is intended to provide customers with "an even wider range of products".

Bomin currently operates four bunker barges out of Antwerp, performing deliveries throughout the ARA region.

In addition to ULSFO, Bomin also offers IFO 380, DMC 0.1% marine gas oil (MGO), DMA 0.1% MGO, DMA 86/0.1% MGO, and 180 centistoke (cSt) as well as other lower-viscosity fuels.

Bomin's bunker barges operating in the ARA are equipped with mass flow meters.
