Singapore 380 cSt drops 2.5% in week 47

A summary of weekly Singapore 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.

Updated on 20 Nov 2015 11:22 GMT

The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Singapore fell to its lowest end-of-week level of the year so far on Friday, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Singapore 380 cSt bunker price was down $5.50, or 2.5 percent, to $215.50 per tonne on November 20, compared with $221.00 per tonne on November 13.

It is the third consecutive end-of-week price drop and the fifth in the last six weeks.

Decreases of $1.00, $4.00 and $1.50 - recorded on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday respectively - outweighed the $1.00 rise seen on Thursday and the unchanged numbers on the opening day of the week.

The $215.00 price is not, however, the lowest daily price of 2015 - a figure of $203.50 (with a low of $203.00 and a high of $204.00) was recorded on August 26.
