The Port of Corpus Christi is open with the following restrictions:

- Draft restriction not to exceed 43'. Coordinate closely with Aransas-Corpus Christi Pilots to avoid meeting/overtaking situations.

- All foreign registered vessels 100 gross tons or larger, all domestic tank vessels 10,000 gross tons or larger, and all domestic non-tank vessels 1,600 gross tons or larger must:

1) conduct one way transits only;
2) have a minimum of 2 pilots for each transit; and
3) transit during daylight hours only.

The first vessel crossed the Harbor Bridge post recovery on 31 Aug. The ship in question was the 51,527-dwt tanker High Saturn. 2017-09-01 10:21:10 GMT
Corpus Christi Ship Channel (Ship Channel) remains closed since Aug 24 as the US Coast Guard maintains condition Zulu for all areas of the Ship Channel. However, the US Coast Guard has issued a modified Zulu status for the Inner Harbor to allow for vessels with up to 20 feet draft to operate. 2017-08-31 21:34:01 GMT

Corpus Christi Ship Channel remains closed until further notice. The port says that its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Team is continuing to work to get back to normal operations as soon as possible.

As mentioned previously, power has been restored to most Port of Corpus Christi Authority (PCCA) facilities. PCCA Inner Harbor is open with limited 20ft draft only for tugs and barges. PCCA says it is working towards achieving normal business operations by 4 Sep.
